First Aid

Course Information

This one day course includes a 30 minute video and the use of practical equipment including a CPR model and a variety of wounds to be treated.  There is a variety of bandages to be used and also a first aid kit to be assessed and restocked appropriately.  Each delagate will be given a selection of work sheets that covers each objective.

Each individual will receive an attendance certificate.

Aims

To demonstrate how to use first aid procedures to preserve life when a situation arises.
To create a level competency to enable a person to assist effectively in a first aid situation.
