CITA seeks to raise awareness in society of the problems of prescribing drug addiction, in particular, sleeping tablets and antidepressants. It does this by using the media, training workshops, conferences, meetings and literature. It also provides a helpline from 9:30am to 5:00pm each day.

Training: provided for volunteers on Helpline and study days and information on benzodiazepine.
