For one of our guaranteed places we do ask our runners to commit to raising £1,200 in sponsorship but in return we promise constant support and advice. We are readily available for fundraising tips and ideas, and frequently draw our runners' attention to articles in newspapers and magazines which may help. In order to assist runners in their preparation, we also organise a traditional pasta party the afternoon before the event - to build up the carbohydrates and vital energies that they will need, and provide runners with official personalised training tops! |

Sherborne Country Fair: Spring Bank Holiday - Monday 28th May 2007
The Fair, held in the grounds of Sherborne Castle, attracts thousands of families each year. It is a Fun Day out for the whole family. It is a chance to see rare breed animals, dog shows, falconry displays and to watch country craftsmen at their trade - hatching, woodturning, bodging, chair caning too name a few. In addition to this there are many arts and crafts stalls and a funfair for the children, while the more sporty can take part in archery, shooting and fishing.
The Fair is run and organised solely by volunteers, all their profits help children's charities and for the past 11 years, The Lady Hoare Trust has been the major beneficiary. For more details visit Web: http://www.sherbornecountryfair.com |

The British 10K London Run: Sunday 1st July 2007
This exciting road race runs through the heart of London passing the capital's famous landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and the London Eye. We have a number of guaranteed spaces for this event. We provide members of our team with tips, advice and information on training and fundraising.
