Alcohol Concern is the national agency on alcohol misuse. It works to reduce the level of alcohol misuse and to develop the range and quality of helping services available to problem drinkers and their families. Alcohol Concern’s Mental Health & Alcohol Misuse Project promotes the inclusion of alcohol in strategies developed for the Mental Health National Service Framework, and updates the mental health and substance misuse fields on mental health and alcohol-related issues.
