MATILDAH
Making Advanced Technology Useful for Independent Living for Disabled People At Home.
We are a team at the University of Dundee who are interested in learning from disabled adults (18-65 yrs) about technologies they use in their homes.
We would like to hear your views on such issues such as:
How you can get involved?
There are three ways that you can get involved in our research.
User Club
The user club meets once a month. This is an informal group discussion looking at experiences with technology. The meetings take place at the fully accessible Queen Mother Building at the University of Dundee. Refreshments are provided.
On-line discussion forum
We are running an internet discussion forum for disabled people across the country to share views on technology. Registration is free, and all personal details will be kept completely confidential. To join in visit: www.matildah.org.uk
One-to-one interviews
This would involve a member of the research team coming out to visit you in your own home. We would like to see the technology you use and discuss your experiences with it. We are keen to talk to people from both Scotland and England
If you would like to know more about how you can take part in any of the project please get in touch.
